The Dog Decompression Center is a Low Stress Handling and Fear Free Rescue & Sanctuary for dogs, located in Calaveras County, CA.
We are a registered Non-Profit and also open to the public to do board and train for dogs who already have a family and home.
Our comprehensive Dog Decompression Board and Train Reset Program takes place in Burson, California on 40 acres of secluded/private grasslands and rolling hills, established dirt and gravel hiking paths (or the choice to explore, be adventurous, and make new paths), one large pond, 3 distinct seasonal ponds, a facility with indoor air conditioning and other modern amenities, a securely fenced yard, plus more!
There are so many plants and animals, large and small: birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, etc! ...and their poop! (...so many enrichment opportunities!) Come discover the wildlife of Calaveras County plus all the farm animals!
