about Milagro

Please help us find Milagro a special home. Milagro means "Miracle" in spanish and we are hoping for one!
Sadly Milagro entered into our care as part of a group of dogs that lost their home and their previous owner had nowhere to take them. Milagro and his group of friends are what we affectionately refer to as "country dogs". They are use to roaming freely on acreage and living a free doggy life. Unfotunately, that didn't set him up for success for the "what if life goes sideways" moment(s).
Milagro has been strictly an outside dog and doesn't have experience in a home or potty training or even how to walk on a leash. He's about 2 years old and is neutered. He has lived in a group of 7-10 dogs. It has been reported that the group of dogs had killed chickens, small animals and possibly a small dog.
Milagro has had very little structure in his life and you can only imagine how he's handling being confined in the shelter environment. The shelter is probably one of the hardest places for Milagro to be and unfortunately, we don't have much to offer him in the shelter that is enriching to him, therefore we are hoping for a "Miracle". Perhaps there is someone out there that has a large yard or property that they would be willing to consider Milagro and help him work towards becoming a part of a family!
